Foucault

Delivery and working methods: The term’s classic is French philosopher and historian Michel Foucault. The course includes lectures, discussions, readings, screenings and has visiting lecturers.
Materials: Learning materials will be distributed during lectures.

In order to get 5 credits students have to make essay or representation under the title "My Foucault". This can be a video or photographic essay, written essay, visual presentation (Power Point, Prezi, Keynote) etc. This include reflection what in Foucault's thinking, concepts and theories is important for you and why, how can you use it in research or practice of art or how it is related to your self as a subject. What Foucault has to say to you and how he shapes your relation to the world?
